
About The Black Professional Network
The Black Professional Network (BPN) is an organization founded in 2007 by Oye Fajobi, Gerald Fils and Tracy
Press. BPN boast over 10,000 members who largely reside in Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia. BPN is an
organization which seeks to engage professionals in the pursuit of occupational and entrepreneurial leadership
positions. BPN core members are alumni of the nation’s Ivy League Universities (Harvard, Brown, Yale,
Princeton, University of Pennsylvania, Cornell, Columbia, Dartmouth) — approximately 40% of our members are
doctors, lawyers, politicians, engineers, or business owners.
BPN provides a medium for both young and seasoned professionals to participate in cultivating their career
ambitions and personal aspirations through a collection of upscale monthly events, newsletters, networking
opportunities and e-mail communication. The Black Professional Network attracts professionals of the highest
caliber with many of its core members being alumni of the nation’s Ivy League universities — approximately
40% of our members are doctors, lawyers, politicians, engineers, or business owners.
